The Dirty Dozen is back again in 2025 and we are offering the same amazing mountain bike and trail running races on the Colorow and Highland Trail System Networks. 

Race entries are:

$75 for Dirty Dozen MTB Race

$65 for Dirty Half Dozen MTB Race

$65 for Dirty Dozen Trail Running Race

and includes:

  • Free Post Race Beer at the Festival on 8/2

  • Entry to the festival

  • Free pair of custom Sockguy R&R socks for the first 100 registrants courtesy of Kim & Dalton Sallee!

FRIDAY 8/1 10K TRAIL RUNNING RACE

10K with 1,100 feet of climbing 6pm start time from VIX Ranch Park. Awards and post race party planned for 8:30 PM at Drifters Coffee and Down Valley Brewing.

20 miles on singletrack with 3,800 feet of climbing 7am start time from VIX Ranch Park. Awards and post race party planned for 12PM after the trail race at Drifters Coffee and Down Valley Brewing.

Friday 8/1 and Saturday 8/2 10K Trail Running and Dirty Dozen MTB Race Combo

If competing in one race just isn’t enough for you, register for both the MTB Race (20 mile course) and the 10K Trail Running Race and you will get your own category. Awards and post race party planned for 12PM at Drifters Coffee and Down Valley Brewing.

Saturday 8/2 Kid’s MTB and Trail Running Race at VIX

A one-mile MTB race (2 laps) and half mile trail race (1 lap) will be held for kids 12 and under on Saturday morning. The races will use the same start and finish line as the Dirty Dozen Races and will be on the skills loop at Vix Park.  A short strider bike race will also be held. Entry is free and kids can do either race or both races. These races will be untimed and each finisher will receive a prize!

Race Cutoffs

We will be enforcing time cutoffs on the Dirty Dozen MTB Race (20 mile course).

Racers that arrive at the bottom of the Sallee Key climb after 9:30am will be cutoff. Racers that arrive at the bottom of the Dante’s Peak climb after 10:15am will be cutoff. If you don’t make the time cutoffs you will have your race number pulled and you will be directed to the finish line by course marshals.
